Celebrating our 10th Anniversary in 2024!

Wiltshire Media was originally founded in 2014 by Elaine Kapogines as a publishing and custom content firm. The same year, we launched The Holistic Parent, a natural health and wellness magazine for families in Southwestern Ontario. The quarterly print magazine expanded to include over 20,000 print copies per year being distributed at approximately 120 locations, with six-figure ad revenue. The Holistic Parent brand also grew to include monthly B2B networking events, curated blog space, podcast, vendor market and small business coaching.

In 2019, The Holistic Parent brand was shuttered and the company pivoted exclusively to B2B support services, including public relations, media education and strategic business consultations. Since the rebrand, Wiltshire Media has served hundreds of entrepreneurs and indie authors with our services, resources and educational material.

Meet the Founder

Journalist. Strategist. Educator. Wife. Mom.

Elaine Kapogines boasts two decades of experience in media, PR and content marketing. She began her career in senior editorial positions, specializing in business and legal journalism for Canadian print media. She was an editor for two of the largest publishing companies in the world and has over 100 bylines across a variety of media outlets, including the Globe and Mail and National Post.

In 2008, she launched her first independent print magazine, and in 2014 jumped into full-time entrepreneurship with the launch of her second publication, The Holistic Parent.

Since 2019, she has focused on elevating the voices of entrepreneurs, authors and other professionals through media relations, PR, content marketing and thought leadership positioning. She is also a part-time faculty member of Conestoga College’s School of Business where she specializes in post-graduate communication courses.
